Hard Case
When will someone make a hard case for the EnV3?

I want a hard case for the EnV3 (Preferably the one with the soft black rubber grip). I know the EnV3 isn’t out yet, but is there anyone out there that already has plans for it in the works?

I’m sure many people are planning to make an Env3 case on ebay. Just wait until its out for a little while, and if you look on ebay there will be TONS of cases.
I’m getting the Env3, too! Super excited. :D

Is 5 V bias microphone criticism?

I see lots of patterns for the polarization of cheap microphones to +5 V by a ~ 2k resistance. Is this a standard or what? It would be convenient to just connect this to 8 V in our circuit, but I do not want to hurt the microphones. I think it will be good in 99% cases, but any information would be useful.

Unlike Condenser Microphone Electret other types require no bias voltage, but they normally contain an integrated preamplifier which does require a small amount of power (often incorrectly called polarizing power or bias). This preamp is often a phantom power and sound studio. A circuit-type electret microphone preamp uses an FET in a configuration common source. The two terminal electret capsule contains an FET which must be externally powered by a supply voltage V +. Resistance adjusts the gain and output impedance. The audio signal appears at the output after a DC-blocking capacitor. The amplifier is powered during and is not sensitive to source voltage (within limits)

Stand Compact
Does anyone know how to set up a hose Hozelock Compact? It is a free standing one, but I can not. .

Get it right. It's got a sort of fitting on the coil itself, but I do not understand! I tried their website. Good old Argos carton empty, without instructions.

Phone Hozelock they are unfamiliar with the installation and send you the correct parts.

Camcorders are ingenious tools that allow us to record images of events that mark our life and show creativity and produce unique and interesting films that previously only professional videographers could craft. For beginners, it is important to understand more about the anatomy base of a camcorder to be better equipped to make a choice at the grocery store.

Although each model camcorder is somewhat different and may offer unique features there are basic elements that are common to all.

The Image Sensor:

A camcorder uses either a CCD charge, coupled device or CMOS, metal oxide semiconductor complementary to convert light into signals Electrical and save the resulting images. Essentially, they perform the same function as the film in a traditional camera or camcorder.

A CCD consumes much more power than a CMOS chip, but tends to produce a superior image quality. The images produced using a camcorder with CMOS technology tend to have more "noise" due to a lower resolution and less sensitivity to light. As with most But technology, CMOS that the recent development gaining ground. The main advantage of CMOS at present is that it affordable compared to more expensive CCD sensors.

The objective:

The lens of a camcorder offers opening light to pass on the CCD / CMOS and focus so that the image is clear. By adjusting the lens wearers can change what the items on stage are in focus and the amount of light penetrates to control the look and quality of resulting images. Lens Controllers are sometimes purchased to allow a user to adjust the lens to the tripod handle.

Add on lenses and filters can be used. For example, a telephoto allows subjects at a distance to be amplified, a wide angle lens widens the horizontal field and a fisheye lens allows extreme Wide angle view. Common filters include polarizing filters to reduce glare and UV filters to protect the lens against the harmful rays.

An important characteristic of lenses with optical zoom camcorder that allows the lens to magnify images, a function that allows users to obtain better photos of distant subjects. The optical image stabilizers help detect and reduce unwanted movement of the camcorder to produce a smoother, more stable film. Digital versions of zoom and stabilization are available on the camcorder, but tend to produce an image a little lower quality. Stabilization is digital, however, sometimes preferred by some consumers as camcorders with optical stabilization are often greater.

Micro:

The average camcorder has a microphone integrated multi-directional. These microphones tend to choose the audio from any direction, from behind, front and sides of the camcorder. So many movies at home finally difficult to hear unwanted "background noise".

A camcorder also often a microphone jack. If the camcorder has a such decision, buying an external microphone to attach to it can greatly improve the audio captured. External microphones can be reconciled sound source in some cases and in others they can concentrate on the sound that is desired from any background noise. Microphones and Wireless Lapel microphones are useful when recording individual speakers. Shotgun microphones pick up sound in front of the microphone at a distance during cardioid microphones capturing the front is close. One option to reduce the intrusion of unwanted sounds that distorts the desired sound.

The viewfinder and panels LCD:

The viewfinder on a camcorder allows users to see what they were filming. They can be black and white or color. Size varies, as resolution. Some users select large viewfinder with higher resolution to the aid of their visibility, but others use just the LCD for that purpose. Size of the LCD also vary, and are selected based on personal preferences. Viewfinders are often provide greater visibility for shooting in bright sunlight while using a swivel LCD allows for greater visibility when the shooting overhead.

Inputs and outputs:

A camcorder will be made AV ports to allow connectivity to other devices like a TV or computer. These jacks allow film to be downloaded, viewed or copied. To enable the camcorder to hook up with a TV or other device, it is important that the inputs and outputs coincide. This sequence may be composite video or S-video for analog or DVI / HDMI for digital signals.

Most camcorders will liaise with a PC via a USB cable 2 or FireWire port that allows transfer much faster than USB 1.1. Again, the camcorder must be compatible with the computer to allow hook up.

Although construction a camcorder can be much more complex and there is variability in the characteristics of device to device, whether beginners Understanding these basics, they are on track to be able to make informed choices when shopping.

The author, Christine Peppler, helps consumers better understand their options when selecting home electronics devices. She invites readers to visit her website at http://www.homemedias.info for more information about using or selecting a camcorder.
