Is it acceptable for me to play music from my iPod / laptop through my guitar amp?

To do this, I made a cable Stereo 1 / 4-1 / 8 inch, just cut and welded back together. Do I plug it into the entry in the guitar or CD (I guess that bypasses all the preamp and amplifier input power. The amplifier is a G30RCD Marshall.

just got a Sansa Clip and trying to listen to the radio staion but it goes only in 2s and I jump stations need someone else has this trouble or know what I can do about it

I think stations you want to play are not available where you are. You probably want some local stations which limits where they can be heard. I think you should try and see if you can get the frequency station listening to a station above or below him.
