Guitar Case is best for delivery?
Hello, I have a Gibson SG Angus Young edition and need help finding a case for transport. The guitar is my primary concern, and its being shipped by FedEx. I found the two following, and wonder what would most appropriate: I am looking in two different cases: 1) The SKB 66 Universal http://www.guitarcenter.com/SKB-Deluxe-Universal-Electric-Guitar-Case-541664-i1177904.gc 2) Gator G-Tour electric guitar case http://www.guitarcenter.com/ Gator G-Tour-Electric-Guitar-Flight-Case-157732-i1152391.gc Thank you for your help.
Both works, but if I port an expensive guitar, I would put it in a guitar case and then put the case in a box that has the packing materials around the case. If you go to a FedEx office, they can package for you. The box to protect the guitar better and will reduce chances of getting the guitar "lost" in shipping. Musical instruments are often stolen when shipped.
