Looking to get started DJing?
I thought about leaving, and if I'm good I could make small local events can be. I a processor with 80 + effects, a 20 Watt amp and a decent headset already .. What I have no basis other stuff, like turntables and a mixer. I asked myself: What do I need to start? Nothing expensive please. So I really do not want to do the vinyl thing together so I do not know if that makes decks out of the question or not? Any other tips / advice is appreciated, thank you.
If you do not want vinyl you'll need to get a pair of CD-jays as well as a mixer. They imitate the sensation of moving the records on a turntable, but you can use CDs. They are not cheap, despite. Deejaying is a hobby expensive, no matter how you do it. The best way forward is to get enough concerts to pay for music and equipment.
