Metronome Guitar
What is the best way to learn and practice the Odd Time Signature guitar and drums other than the use of a metronome

for some odd time sigs it would be advantageous to use an alternative method of counting. using macrobeats and microbeats. the macrobeats are the main beats, that you could bob their heads with or slow dance to. microbeats are basically the subdivisions of the macrobeat. macrobeats are "doing" and microbeats are "da" or "di" or "do today. This method of "counting" you can "feel the rhythm" and then learn the better pace. in motion, like tapping your foot support, the more you move in time with the best music you'll be able to keep time. This website, it explains quite well: http://www.giml.org/rhythmcontent.html
