What is the difference between the speakers and power amps vs. dj speakers live sound and power amps?
I need to know what is the difference between the 2 types of technology when it comes to live music soundtrack. I found a PVX9000 Pro GLI 10,000 Watts of power DJ Amp Rack, thought that what we wanted to be able to support the sound power and improve sound quality when we perform live in the bars of our type of music is old school rock, metal and heavy metal, but after talking to a bar owner who runs himself said his DJ equipment Not able to be used, why?
Angel – DJ and live sound is not very different. I am a DJ and Sound Guy I live and use the same equipment for both. DJ Amp and speakers can be used for the direct sound. A mixer can not be used for the live sound (not enough mic). The bar owner was partly right. I would not recommend the Amp GLI Pro though. There are a lot of material sound cheaply made which is marketed to DJ's this is pure garbage. If you need a power amp low prices that is really well done http://www.zzounds.com/item–BEHEP4000 I own three of them and they are super reliable and the sound is great!
